Many of the people that I would hope to have here in California to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday with me live far enough away that a little time to plan would be both helpful and necessary.
This page will contain useful information for folks to get it together and make the arrangements to come join Anthony and me at our home in Pine Grove, California on Friday, April 28, 2023.
The "event" will include a private, in-home concert by Glen Phillips, lead singer of my favorite band, Toad the Wet Sprocket, as an aside from his usual touring schedule. Guests may arrive as early as 6:00pm; Glen will begin set-up at 7:00pm, and the concert will begin at 8:00pm that evening. You'll be free to stick around after the show before we start kicking people out around 11:00pm. 😁- "Save the Date" cards for family and friends will be in the US Mail by New Year's Day 2023.
- Formal invitations will follow in early March 2023, with RSVPs due by 3/31/23.
Heads up:
- The nearest airport is Sacramento International (SMF) about 70 miles away.
- Information regarding lodging accommodations in the town of Pine Grove and nearby Jackson, CA will be posted here.
I'll be taking some time off from work both before and after the event, to connect with those guests who will be staying around to enjoy the California gold country for a bit.
